In this episode, I reflect on what it really means to “take up space” — emotionally, mentally, and relationally — especially during Mental Health Awareness Month. While this conversation is being recorded and released in May, the themes we explore are relevant year-round. I share some honest reflections about recent burnout, the pressure to perform or overextend myself, and what it has looked like to communicate more truthfully with the people I love about my actual emotional capacity. Together, we unpack how shrinking ourselves can show up subtly in everyday life, and how healing often begins when we stop apologizing for being human.
